CyclopsTM unique single port design maximizes bit strength and minimizes the risk of bit head splitting or chunkingcaused by operational and manufac-turing induced fatigue stress.

Jetted Backhead

Bit Retainer System

Center Rock’s jetted backhead is one of the simplest and most reliable on the market. Incorporated into the existing check valve system of CRI’s CR80, CR88, and CR120 hammers, the CRI jetted backhead does not require additional check valves or over-the-hammer subs that complicate your down-hole assembly. When you need extra air to keep your holes clean, the CRI jetted backhead will maintain hammer power while giving you the performance and reliability to complete your project.

Weight–on-bit control in deep holes is always a challenge. Get it right and the risk of bit shanking is small. Get it too heavy or too light and the risk of bit shankage and losing a bit head in the hole is high. Cen-ter Rock offers an innovative bit retainer system for applications where the risk of bit shanking needs to be addressed. The retainer system provides a secondary means for retaining the bit head to the hammer, should the bit shank through the splines.

The model 1200 Hydro Jaw breakout machine uses a heavy-duty chainlink jaw design to quickly breakout or make-up bits, DTH hammer joints, and other API tool connections to keep your operation running smoothly. Powered by a Honda 5.5 horsepower gasoline engine linked to a single-stage or optional two-stage hydraulic pump, the Model 1200 unit is portable and easily moved around the job site. It is designed to safely operate in the horizontal or vertical position. A lifting eye and forklift slots make it easy to load and unload. With its excellent power and adjustability, the CRI Model 1200 is ideal for breakout/make-up in a wide range of drilling applica-tions. Also available in Model 2400.

CRI Hammer Honey is a specially formulated premium rock drill oil. Hammer Honey provides a great balance of tackifiers, emulsibility and corrosion protection that makes it uniquely suited to demanding DTH applications. But that’s not all, Hammer Honey’s unique extreme-pressure additives prevents steel-on-steel galling and burning of hammer parts and bits that can lead to catastrophic failure. CRI stands behind any CRI hammer part that fails from a frictional-induced crack when using Hammer Honey. Available in five gallon buckets, 55-gallon drums, and 275-gallon totes in MEDIUM ISO 150 and HEAVY ISO 220 grades.

Center Rock offers a self-contained air-actuated positive displacement oil injection system featuring: discharge pressure up to 6000 psi, a stainless steel plunger, reser-voir with sight glass, and fine tuned oil injection volume control through an easily adjusted micro-valve.

This heavy-duty rock drill oil meets all EPA standards for biodegradability and is designed to satisfy the require-ments of pneumatic tools, down-hole, and surface drilling equipment. The specially selected base stocks and addi-tives allow for excellent extreme pressure characteristics, outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, and a wider temperature range than is available for conventional bio-degradable products. Available in 55-gallon drums and five gallon buckets.
