Suggestions for Maximizing Your Learning

• Make sure to view presentation in a place ideal for learning such as your desk or in a public library. You should not view presentation in a high-traffic area such as the Living Room because there are too many distractions.

• If possible, keep noise to a minimum. Don’t have your phone readily available because you’ll spend too much time reading & sending texts, or browsing through your other social media accounts and you may miss some important info.

• Take Cornell Notes. Make sure your notes are concise and accurate.

• If you miss something, or you don’t understand any part of the presentation, feel free to peruse your Geometry text, Section 6-1 and read over the section.

• Practice increases your ability to retain. Complete the practice problems on a separate sheet of paper. They may be collected as an assignment next class period.
