In the Modern Era, Internet becomes a largest online resource for everyone. Any one can connect with thousand of users with there products and any one can reach out to them from thousand of advertisers.

This brings “Digital Advertising ” a key term which uses internet to deliver promotional marketing messages to many of users in a view.

Online Advertising becomes a chaos for user and it creates a battlefield to get more number of Consumers attention . While Consumers are increasingly concerned about there online privacy .

Why Tiles ?

Mozilla Believes that Ads can work in favour of both (consumers as well as advertisers),if it promotes in a standard way.

To make this belief possible , They developed Tiles A visual bookmarks or thumbnails that Firefox users see each time they open a new browser tab.

Types of Tiles

Tiles are working on “recency”(an algorithm that combines our recency of visiting a site and our frequency of visiting a site).

Most recency sites are visible in Tiles.

Depending on our New Tab settings, these Tiles include recently visited or frequently visited sites, along with suggested sites and sponsored content.

How Tiles work ?

Suggested Tiles, makes it possible to do relevant advertising and content recommendations while still respecting users’ privacy and giving them control over their data.

With these tiles users should be easily to understand what contents what content is promoted, who it is from and why they are seeing it.

And If they don’t want to see those ads then they can opted out easily within two clicks ,without performing so many instructions .
