English Following on from last week, I found the most amazing set of videos that made me smile and think. Planets! New, weird planets with fascinating creatures that exist in ways I couldn’t imagine were possible.

I thought that we could all go on a journey to these different planets and try to figure out what is going on there. I have a favourite planet; can you guess which one it is?

I just wish I could understand what they were saying. It’s made me very confused. Do you think you know what they are talking about? What I’d love you to do is create dialogue (a conversation) between two of the characters. What are they saying to each other? Are they talking about the weather or something completely magical? Use the picture below to help you choose your aliens that are having a conversation. When writing a conversation between two characters, there are a few rules that we need to remember. What did you think about the last alien to show its powers? Did you think he should have used his powers? What made him use his powers? Was it the right decision? I want you to give that alien some advice. Write him an email saying what happened, whether you like his friends or not, should he have listened to them and what he should do if it ever happens again. Can you help him?

Planet you I want you to create another planet that could be added to this galaxy. You can draw, paint, use models, use computers and animation to create your own planet with aliens to match. What will make your plane different? Will all the aliens speak, move, behave differently? Will they all look the same or unique? Be as adventurous as you like, and I can’t wait to see your planet. J
