Last but not least I would like to thankFr. Stephen Donnelly for providing his spiritual guidance. Although I was unable toattend, I understand that it was a very successful and rewarding experience.
Gene Johann has planned a great golf outing. It will be held at PortJefferson Country Club on Monday April 11

unable to attend, sponsor signs are available for purchase. Please refer to the flyerin this issue.
As you know Paul Basileo and his team are hard at work on our currentCharity Drive. Please give them your full support to make this fund raiser asuccess. They would appreciate any assistance that you can provide, whether it isselling Charity Drive Books or Soliciting ads for our journal, and don’t forget tomake your reservations for the Charity Ball on June 26 th.

Prayer to Saint Patrick Christ be with me, Christ within me,Christ behind me, Christ before me,Christ beside me, Christ to win me,Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,Christ in quiet, and in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
Prayer to St. Joseph
Oh, St. Joseph, whose protection isso great, so strong, so prompt before thethrone of God. I place in you all my
interests and desires.
Oh, St. Joseph, do assist me by your
powerful intercession, and obtain for me from your divine Son all spiritual blessings,
through Jesus Christ, our Lord. So that, having engaged here below your heavenly power, I may offer my thanksgiving andhomage to the most loving of Fathers.
Oh, St. Joseph, I never weary ofcontemplating you, and Jesus asleep in your arms; I dare not approach while He
reposes near your heart. Press Him in myname and kiss His fine head for me and askhim to return the Kiss when I draw mydying breath.
St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls - Pray for me.

In 1954, lobbying by the Order of the Knights of Columbushelped convince the U.S. Congress to add the phrase "under
God" to the Pledge of Allegiance. President Dwight
Eisenhower wrote to Supreme Knight Luke E. Hart thankingthe Knights for their "part in the
movement to have the words 'under God'added to our Pledge of Allegiance."
“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for
which it stands, one nation under God,indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. ”
