Project Assignments:

Project # 1Title : ‘Transportation Module Implementation ’.

Role : As a LE consultant I had hands on experience of designing, configuring

transportation solution and closely worked on enhancements for customization to

meet certain requirements.

Description : This Project is mainly designed and configured to support the business

process for planning, execution of shipment and freight costing and settlement

through third party agents for outbound shipments. This project is designed to know

the transportation cost involved for a particular delivery transaction.

Project # 2Title : ‘Shipment Cost Transfer to Billing Document ’.

Role : I had designed the solution to copy the freight relevant information into the

customer billing document and closely worked with user exits in the process of 

customizing the solution.

Description :  This Project is designed to copy the freight entered in the shipment

cost document by the freight forwarder into the Billing Document for a specific group

of customers. This design also needs to work such that if there is a manual freight

cost (Flat Rate charged) entered in the sales order then the copied freight from the

shipment cost document should not be active in the billing document. Also extended

the billing due list with new fields.

Project # 3Title : ‘Migration of SAP 4.7 to SAP 6.0’.

Role : I was responsible in designing and configuring areas of Logistics Execution

and Transportation modules

Description : The main idea behind this project is to upgrade the client system into

ECC 6.0 following all the SAP best practises. The business design of old production

Project #4

Title : ‘Automatic Delivery Tracking Functionality’.

Role : I had hands on experience in designing an automatic solution to populate a

tracking number given by the carrier into each of the delivery created in SAP system.

Description:  The objective behind this project is to eliminate the manual process of 

entering the third party carrier tracking number in the delivery document. This

tracking number is in turn sent to the carrier by means of an EDI message from the

delivery document. This design also prints the tracking number of the delivery on the

output documents attached or sent across with the load.
