“Sudbury Celebrates 2012” provides

residents and visitors to Sudbury, including

representatives and teams from our twin

towns in Denmark and Germany, with an

opportunity to enjoy sporting events, taster

sessions and cultural activities reflecting

something of the wide range which Sudbury

has to offer.

We hope that many people will take advantage

of all the free activities on offer at the various

venues across Sudbury and Cornard. Our first

ever “It’s a Knockout” event is taking place

at the Delphi Club, If you’re not all set to take

part, why not simply come along to watch and

enjoy the fun.

This whole event has been a splendid example of the community working

together, I want to thank our sponsors, all of whom are listed in the programme,

as well the many sports clubs, schools and organisations, officers and members

of Suffolk County Council, Babergh District Council and Sudbury Town Council

for their ideas and enthusiastic support. Finally a special thanks to Sudbury

Rotary Club, Malcolm Offord and Richard Kemsley in particular, in helping us to

organise what is sure to be a weekend to remember!
