a new gateway to the emirates

Entry into service of the new airport terminal in Abu DhabiThe United Arab Emirates has become one of the biggest exponents of economic development in the Middle East. Its capital, Abu Dhabi, has experienced a sharp rise in visitors from all over the world.

Faced with the need to guarantee sustainable growth in the region, Ineco has contributed its extensive experience in adapting and improving transport infrastructure through its participation in the expansion project at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

We lead the Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) of the new Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC), considered one of the largest airport extension projects. We contributed to the project our own methodology, based on our experience in ORAT. Among other tasks, it proposes a new operational model for the airport, lays out and implements an Airport Management Centre, defines and carries out operational testing, and designs and executes the operational transfer to the new facilities.

High speed Makkah - MadinahSaudi Arabia is one of the most visited countries by the Muslim community. Each year, millions of people visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah to fulfill one of the basic pillars of Islam, pilgrimage.

A consortium of twelve Spanish companies, including Ineco, is responsible for the construction of a high speed corridor which will cross the country’s coastal and desert zones, connecting Makkah and Madinah.

This is an appropriate setting for demonstrating the know-how of Ineco and other Spanish companies in the area of high speed, where the main challenge is dealing with the extreme climatological and geological conditions of the desert, a route of over 440 kilometres with stretches of dunes, sand and strong winds.

Ineco is responsible for engineering and consultancy for the project, which is expected to transport a volume of 166,000 passengers per day at peak periods, with the newest technology and the smallest possible environmental impact.

an integrated, sustainable vision of urban transport

a new driving force for são paulo

São Paulo CPTM linesSão Paulo’s dynamic population means that its public transport system is overwhelmed by the number of passengers. The system was not able to cope with the density of passengers, which reached 9 per square metre on some of the city’s metro lines.

For that reason, the government of Brazil launched a plan to invest 5 billion euros in the São Paulo metro to increase the transport capacity of lines 1, 2 and 3 and to enable the entry into service of the new lines 4 and 6, as well as the extension of lines 2 and 5.

Ineco carried out modernisation works on the lines, owned by Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM), and provided project management and technical assistance services. The work covered everything from programme coordination and management to financial and environmental studies.

Ineco has left an impression of innovation, sustainability and efficiency in the modernisation of São Paulo’s CPTM lines, providing it with an urban transport system that is adapted to the city’s economic development

At Ineco, we work to develop efficient, sustainable and well-organised urban transport systems, always from an integrating perspective. We address the growing demand in the sector and implement innovative transport management models, promoting intermodality and prioritising environmental considerations as well as improving the quality of life of citizens.
