First 48 Hours – Promote your Business

The first 48 hours of your business are critical to building momentum! MAXOUS offers you proven marketing strategies to launch your business successfully. Keep it simple!

Invite-a-Friend Tool

This is the easiest and fastest way to send out invitations. Login to your account and click on the “Invite-a-Friend” button in the left menu. You can use the default message or replace the content with your own message. The tool will send the message with your personal referral link, so they will be assigned to you when they join.

Social Media

From Facebook and Twitter to Pinterest and Instagram it seems everyone, everywhere is involved in some type of social networking. The great news for affiliates is that you can create a profile on any of these mentioned social networks and promote your business for free.

You can write about your area of interest and include links to your affiliate site, or feel free to create or join a group that revolves around your particular niche. Facebook alone has over 1 billion active users, and Twitter sends out tweets from powerhouse celebrities and business.

Consumers today want to interact with the companies they do business with. They also rely heavily on recommendations made by their friends, family, and others. Social media makes it easy for you to benefit from both of these trends. Through social media, you can share information and promotions, communicate and engage with your market, and benefit from the buzz your audience generates through shares. By being responsive to people who engage with you, you show that you care and you can increase loyalty and improve your chance of referrals.

Sure, you could pay professionals to make a high-quality video for your business, but with extra effort, you can do the whole thing yourself. You can make a video using your computer’s webcam or a cell phone. Most computers and phones include free video editing software, and it's free to upload videos to YouTube. The trick to successful videos for business marketing is to be helpful (i.e., tutorials) and/or entertaining. Share your story and why your excited to be a part of the MAXOUS community.

DEVELOPING YOUR PERSONAL STORY

About The Maxous Opportunity It may sound easy, but to someone just getting started, the initial step of developing your personal story can be overwhelming. The sponsor must help a new person develop their story. Simply put, this step involves the sponsor asking the new Affiliate "why" they joined MAXOUS and then exploring their answer until the true reason and story come to the surface.

For example, we asked one of our new affiliate why she got started, and she said "to make significant money." We asked how much that would be and she told us. Then, we asked how her life would change if she was making this amount of money, and she said "I would build the MAXOUS business full time." We still did not have her true reason, so we asked why she would do MAXOUS full time versus her current job as a financial consultant. She replied, "Because it would take a lot of stress out of my life. My partner and I are always going from hand to mouth and from one client to the next, plus I am tired of waiting to get paid from clients and dealing with finicky investors."

That's her story.

She wants to eliminate the stress of her current situation and replace it with a consistent residual monthly income by working with people she enjoys.

The impact of developing her story was immediate. She initially developed her prospect list by thinking of people she thought would be good at the MAXOUS business. Then, she said she could double her prospecting list by thinking about all the people she knows who have stress and pressure in their jobs, and many that are living paycheck-to-paycheck. Plus, this changed her perspective from "selling" MAXOUS to one of "sharing the opportunity" with people who could benefit from the business and services.

In developing your story, evaluate your reason for getting started with MAXOUS. Is it to provide?

• a "safety net" for your current situation or job?

• a financial "bridge" to get out of a less than optimal career or business?

• an additional income stream for a particular situation?

• the ability to retire when you want to and live how you want to?

• a comfortable living without having to tap into your investments?

Developing your personal story allows you to show your excitement, enthusiasm and belief in MAXOUS and the business opportunity with passion. Being "empowered" with your story will change your attitude and approach about the business. If you're a new Affiliate, your personal story will help to provide you with the "posture" to approach others about this great opportunity.

Now, you don't need to sell and convince people about MAXOUS, but rather actively listen for opportunities to discuss the MAXOUS solution. Once you hear a possible need for the business, you lead into the conversation with "your story." Then, with the MAXOUS marketing tools and your upline support, you can help your prospect see what MAXOUS can mean for them in realizing their goals and dreams.

WHO DO I APPROACH?

Who Do I Approach About this Opportunity?

Now that you are a MAXOUS affiliate, your next step is to begin to introduce the business opportunity and ecommerce platform. For many people this is the hardest step but like everything else in life you learn by doing and it gets easier with practice. After all, the worst thing somebody can say is "No, thank you". Introducing the business opportunity and platform to others is the only way to build your MAXOUS business.

You should expect that a high percentage of people will decline your invitation to learn about the business. Don't allow those that say “no” to discourage you. Remember, every “no” gets you closer to a “YES”. There are BILLIONS of people WORLDWIDE and you are just looking for a few to join your team!

Your Warm Market

The people with whom you are closest are called your warm market. This includes your family, relatives, friends and acquaintances. These are people that you have established a relationship with and therefore trust you. You will have your highest level of success from those you know.

Sharing the MAXOUS business opportunity with your family and friends is the first place to start. They will be less critical of your approach and probably give you some good feedback that will improve other presentations. All of us are able to “ask for a favor” and have your warm market create a FREE MAXOUS ACCOUNT and give you their feedback. The only way you are going to be able to have anyone else join you in your business is if you believe 100% in what the MAXOUS eCOMMERCE SOCIAL PLATFORM is doing in the global marketplace by helping people SAVE MONEY & MAKE MONEY! Share the business with enthusiasm and conviction and others are much more likely to join you!

Referrals from Your Warm Market

When you speak with those in your warm market, try to get at least one referral from each person who decides not to participate in your business. They will know others who may have a need for our platform or who might be interested in a new business opportunity. People who have been referred by your warm market make excellent potential affiliate or customers. Remember to ask your prospects for referrals as well.

You will have your greatest success getting referrals by asking them:

"Could you do me a favor?” Who do you know…

Who would like to save 25% or more on their everyday expenses?

Who may be looking for a part-time income?

Who is unhappy with their career?

Who would be interested in working from home?

Who is entrepreneurial?

Who has been involved with a home business in the past?

Your Common Market

Your “common market” is simply people with whom you have something in common. These are people you work with, people at your local gym, people at your church or synagogue, people in a local club or professional organization, the parents of children with whom your children interact or people at school. The important thing is that you shouldn't rule anyone out. You never know who may have a need in their life for our platform or a need to supplement their income today or for retirement.

Always, remember that your goal is to build a big organization using leverage. Therefore, the business is more about the people your recruits enroll than it is about the people you directly enroll. The power is in the duplication of others.

Everyday People

How many people do you come in contact with every day? Certainly all of us come in contact with at least a few new people every day. As you talk to these people, make it a habit to work the following questions into the conversation:

How long have you been working here

How long have you been in this profession?

Do you enjoy what you do?

Have you ever considered working for yourself?

Have you ever considered doing anything else?

With some people, you may not be able to have much of a discussion. If there appears to be a need or interest, let them know that you have something that may be of value to them, hand them a MAXOUS Business card, and tell them to visit your website, and let them know you appreciated their time.

If you are sincere and enthusiastic in your approach, most people will go to your website and either look into the business or give you a referral.

Conclusion

There are many people to whom you can introduce the MAXOUS business. Some are easier to approach than others. The important things to remember are that you never know who may have an interest, and the only way you will ever find them is if you keep on trying.

Prospecting is perhaps the most important activity in building your MAXOUS business. It is the act of searching for people who show an interest in either the services and/or the business opportunity. Prospecting is the fuel that drives your team and, just like your car, you can never afford to run out of fuel.

This section will provide you with some ideas on various ways to prospect....with tips, tricks, examples, links and more.

There are many ways to prospect. Each person must decide what method or methods work best for them. The important thing is that you do as much as you can as often as you can. It's important to keep a good pace and be consistent. We have several sections in your MAXOUS platform with training videos and guides.

DOING THE BUSINESS

You've learned the basics of the business, the training videos, prospecting and how to get started. Now, it's time

to get out there and do the business.

This section of our guide will provide you with many of the necessary things you need to know to build a

successful business. Three-way calls, prospecting techniques, driving and building your business using our live

webinars/calls are all important to the success of your business.

Following Up and Assessing Your Prospect's Interest

The purpose of follow-up is to gauge your prospect's interest about the opportunity and move them closer to a

positive decision to join MAXOUS. Following up and assessing your prospect's level of interest is Step 2 in the

business-building process. It is best to follow-up with a prospect when the information is still fresh in their mind.

The more time that passes, the less interest they may have. A good rule of thumb is to follow-up within 24 hours

of your prospect receiving the information or watching the movie.

The goal of the follow-up is to assess your prospect's interest, answer any questions they may have and build

belief. In fact, effective follow-up can be the driving factor in a new prospect's decision. Based on your

assessment of your prospect's interest, it is possible to move immediately to Step 3 in the business-building

process and get a positive decision.

If you are a new affiliate, it is strongly recommended that you use your upline to help you follow up. Setting up a

three-way call with your upline allows you to have an expert answer your prospect's questions. More importantly,

it allows your prospect to see that the business is built by a team and allows you to listen and learn from your

upline.

Prospecting & Follow up

ALWAYS REMEMBER, NEVER CHASE ANYONE, USE YOUR CONFIDENCE AND ”POSTURE”! YOU ARE SORTING AND LOOKING FOR TEAMMATES THAT SELL-THEMSELVES NOT PEOPLE THAT YOU HAVE TO CONVINCE! YOU ARE IN CONTROL AND GET TO CHOOSE WHO YOU WANT TO BE A PART OF YOUR TEAM! When using the MAXOUS movie to introduce the business, the follow-up process should be as follows:

Make a follow-up call. "<NAME>, did you have a chance to watch the movie I sent you?”.

If the response is "yes," say something like, "Based on what you heard, does this sound like something you would be interested in learning more about?" If they are interested, set up a specific time for a three-way call with your upline.

If the response is "no," say something like, "No worries, I understand this may not be for everyone. Do you know anyone that might be looking to make some extra money”? Always ask for referrals.

Gauge your prospect's level of interest. After following up with your prospect, you should have a better sense of their level of interest. They may want to build a business, they may want to try the Free MAXOUS account, or they may not have an interest at this time. If they don't volunteer this information, you will have to ask them how they feel about the opportunity. Overcome objections and move toward a positive decision.

If you encounter hesitation, ask your prospect "On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being ready to go, what is your level of interest?" If they are anything less than a 10, ask them what they would need (answer, information, etc.) to be a 10. This numeric scale will help you assess their level of interest and focus your efforts; energy and attention on helping them.

It's important to keep the invitation simple and direct. Once they are interested and ready to get started, go to your referral website, sign them up, and get them started.

Getting a Positive Decision

Getting a positive decision from your prospect will be based on the following:

1. Your ability to build excitement, confidence and belief in the MAXOUS business.

2. Your ability to build a relationship with your prospect--the more they like you and trust you, the more likely they are to join you.

3. Your ability to convey to them that they can do this business too! This is the importance of the simple, duplicable system.

Remember; we are not interested in pressuring someone to join the business. Experience shows, that if someone joins the business as a result of a high-pressure sale, they will not stay long. We want people who see the vision, are excited and want to do this business.

Inviting a prospect to join MAXOUS and getting a positive decision is the final step of the prospecting cycle-but not the final step of your business-building process. The final step is to get your new affiliate started.

Let's review the entire duplicatable business-building process.

Getting Your New Affiliate Started

The cycle of duplication begins and ends with getting your new affiliate started. It is important to understand that once you have successfully brought a new affiliate into your team, you become their coach and mentor. The more successful you are at coaching them to be confident in talking to and approaching others, and disciplined in following the system, the more successful you will become in turning your goals and your team's goals into reality.

Always remember that your success is dependent upon the success of your new affiliate. The two most important things about getting a new affiliate started are to get them started quickly and to get them started properly. If you don't, they are likely to become frustrated and quit.

Within 24 hours of a new affiliate joining your organization, you need to schedule time with them to help get them started.

Here are some steps for getting a new affiliate off to a FAST START:

1. Understand your new affiliate’s goals and objectives

2. Have them use the Maxous Platform, so they will have belief and passion that it works.

3. Review your new affiliate’s prospect list

4. Review the duplicatable system for prospecting and recruiting

5. Develop a 30-day prospecting plan

6. Begin prospecting – massive action in the first 30 days will drive excitement, belief and results

Here are some tips for working with your new affiliate:

Encourage your new affiliate to get started quickly. Momentum will drive their building efforts

Lead by example. Only do things you want your new affiliate to do. The things you say and do will be duplicated by your new affiliate and through their organizations

Focus on building relationships with your new affiliate. This is a relationship-driven business

Don't tell people what to do, be a teacher. Explain to them what they should do and why they should do it

Be patient with your new affiliate. You were new at one time. Give them a chance to get comfortable and confident

Don't put more into a new affiliate’s business than they are willing to do. Remember, you cannot want them to succeed more than they do themselves

Always build belief in your new affiliate as there are "dream stealers" around every corner

Always be accessible, be visible and be patient with your new affiliate and you’ll be pleased with the results!

THREE-WAY PHONE CALLS Three-way phone calls are one of the most valuable, but under-used tools available in building your MAXOUS business.

These are the reasons that three-way phone calls are so important:

It answers questions specific to your prospect, so they can come to a positive decision.

It validates the teamwork approach of our industry. Most people engage in this business part-time and it is very comforting to know that a support system is in place - they don't have to be an expert and do this by themselves.

It becomes a teaching tool for your new affiliate. It demonstrates how easy it is to duplicate the

business and teaches them how to present the business through repetition.

And it's simple to use. In fact, it's a perfect fit in the three-step presenting process.

First, you share your personal story with your prospect, why you started with MAXOUS. Then, determine their interest level, saying for example, "Are you as excited about this as I am?"

Second, introduce them to the opportunity using the SIZZLE LINE recorded overview call (making sure to be on the call with them). At the conclusion of the call or after following up with them, it is important to determine what interests them the most. So, reassess their interest level, with for example, "Do you see the same potential here that I do?"

Third, invite your prospect to a three-way phone call (set it up immediately after steps one and two). Introduce your upline (always edify your upline and build-them-up to your prospect and share their professional background or personal story) and explain how they have additional important information to share. This introduction establishes the credibility of the presenter in the mind of your prospect. Do not interrupt your upline while they are speaking, this is your opportunity to take notes and learn how to conduct a proper three-way.

When we do three-way calls, one of the first things we ask a prospect is, "What exactly are you looking for?" followed by, "What do you hope to accomplish with MAXOUS?" These questions start the call with positive affirmation of their interest and also gauge their business-building goals.

Then, we share our personal story, and tailor the “close” according to their interests and goals (that's why it is so important to understand the needs and interests of your prospect). Then, as the call concludes, it's important to always ask "What else do you need to know before you get started?" or "Are you ready to join our team?" Simply hearing a second, similar opinion shared with excitement and passion provides the all-important belief that a prospect needs.

With a three-way call, you’re providing not only third-party validation to your prospect, but also training for you, so that you learn how to do it for your team. Use three-way calls to access valuable third-party experience and validation, so your business will grow.

The 4-16-64 approach can help you maximize your Fast Start earnings and build a strong organization. It's accomplished through a series of simple steps.

First, enroll and sponsor people to your frontline. Identify at least "4" people who are actively engaged and who you will assist in building their business.

Second, help your business builders find four people just like you did. This will build your second line of "16." Encourage your business builders to teach these new members the same concepts you taught them.

Finally, with the help of business builders in your first and second level, build a third level of "64." Now your organization is set up to explode.

Multiplying your numbers by "4" and teaching your organization a system that can easily be duplicated, sets your business up for long-term success

Helpful Tips:

Be sure that the partners you and your downline bring into the organization are people you get excited about working with, people you want to build a business with, and people you respect.

Stay personally involved with your partners to help them build their frontline of 4 and so on.

Build depth for stability within each leg.

Be an example to your team in all you do.

Stay intimately involved in the process.

Make sure your partners have the support they need.

Stay focused on the task at hand.

These wonderful leaders have committed to helping the entire Maxous community grow. They are available for three-way calls and/or zoom meetings to help you build your team. Make sure you duplicate this process with your team and your business will thrive!

Always pre-schedule an appointment with the Leadership Council member via email or call them to schedule the meeting. Please allow up to 48 hours for scheduling.

Follow these guidelines prior to contacting a Leadership Council Member for assistance:

1) Be responsible and keep your scheduled meetings with your sponsor and/or LC member.If you need to cancel, give them as much prior notice as possible.

2) You must prequalify your prospects prior to scheduling a three-way call or Zoom Meeting. Remember, they are here to help close sales only after you have prequalified your prospects.

3) Try to get your prospects questions answered by using the training videos or three-way with your sponsor. The LC member is not expected to conduct a full-blown presentation.
