Put three pots of water over the fire.分别将三锅水放在火上煮

In the first pot, put some carrots.在第一个锅中放入一些红萝卜

In the second pot, put some eggs.在第二个锅中放入一些鸡蛋。

In the third pot, put some coffee beansthat have been grounded into coffee powder.在第三个锅中放入一些已磨成粉的咖啡豆。

Boil all three pots for 15 minutes.让三个锅煮上 15 分钟。

Take out what you put in.然后将早前放入锅中的东西拿出来。

The carrots went in hard. They are now soft.红萝卜入锅前硬邦邦。现在软绵绵。

The eggs went in soft inside. Now they are hard inside.鸡蛋入锅前里面软如水。现在内部硬如铁。

But the water has the colour and the wonderful smell of coffee.然而，水却呈咖啡色而且散发咖啡香。

The coffee powder has disappeared.咖啡粉已消失无踪。

Now think about life.现在让我们来想想人生。

Life is not always easy.

Life is not always comfortable.

Sometimes life is very challenging.

We go intough and strong.

We come out soft and weak.结果变得软弱。

We can be like the eggs.我们可以效仿鸡蛋。

We start with a soft and sensitive heart.

开始时有颗善良敏感的心

We end up very hard and unfeeling inside.

结果内心变得冷酷无情。

We hate others.We don’t like ourselves.我们憎恨他人。我们不喜欢自己。

We become hard-hearted.我们变得硬心肠。

The water does not change the coffee

powder.水无法改变咖啡粉。

The coffee powder changes the water!

See it. 看一看。Smell it. 闻一闻。Drink it. 喝一口。

The hotterhotter the water, the betterbetter the taste. 水越热热，味道就越香浓香浓。

Problems and difficulties give us the chance to become strongerstronger… and betterbetter… and toughertougher.问题和困难让我们有机会变得更强壮…更出色 ... 而且更坚毅。
