Case Study 2 OverviewFast Track Program: Women In Mining
The Chamber of Minerals & Energy of Western Australia (CME) is the peak resources sector representative body in WA
The role of CME is to champion the WA resources sector and is a persuasive industry voice, adding value to their member companies in a dynamic and increasingly complex operating environment.
The development of the Fast Track Program is a result of CME recognising the need to address the under representation of Indigenous women in the Mining & Resources sector.
CME in partnership with Rio Tinto and MacMahon will trial the Fast Track Program commencing January 2012, as a 24 months Pilot Program with 15 placements on offer.
