SUBURBAN TO CITY GIRL

A woman who grew up in the suburbs is someone used to nature since she grew up in a place with a lot of trees and plants. When she goes to the city, she would find out the difference. It would not be the life that she was used to but she would have to get used to it. After all, a village girl wouldn’t go to a big city without a reason. It would probably because she wanted to know what it what is what like and decided to visit a friend or relative who lives in the city. Or, she needed a job and the location was in the metropolitan area.

Let’s say that she went there to work. She would need a place to stay. It doesn’t matter if she buys one or rents one. It would probably a small flat for one. The flat would be small in order to fit her budget but would be enough for her to live in comfortably. It would be a two floor room. The second floor would consist of small area for a bed and a clothes closet and maybe, a small side cabinet with a lamp shade but it would not be room. The lounge, dining area and the kitchen would be separated with the stairs. And, the bathroom would be a regular bathroom with a shower and it would be located just past the dining area. It is small but it would be cozy. The girl would probably be living a normal life going to work and back to the flat every day.

But, she would still miss home; her lovely neighborhood. She would yearn to go back to her own 4 bedroom detached bungalow with tended gardens, a garage and with a great open plan reception space with an excellent view of the countryside. She would love to return to her own room with double glazed window to rear elevation with views over open countryside towards Kit Hill, radiator, large fitted wardrobes and door giving access through to the rear garden. Since it has a rear garden, it also has a front garden with a lot flowers and shrubs that she could tend to.

Alas, she could do nothing but dream for she is in the city; in a real estate she probably just rented in hope that she wouldn’t stay there for long.
