We are thrilled to have you join us for this fun 5k Remember this is NOT a raceso take your time and enjoy the experience The longer you spend on thecourse the more potential connections you can makehellip

Please read through this guide for important details pertaining to the run If you have further questions

you can contact infoactive-ethoscom Please know that we are very busy preparing for the event so

e-mail is the preferred method of communication

LOCATION CHANGED

To make LUV RUN as logistically simple and fun as possible we have moved the registration start and

finish line over to the American Legion Marsh Post just across the Charles River It is approximately frac12

mile from the original location at Artesani Park Look for signs and the large tent just over the Eliot

Bridge

PARKING AND DIRECTIONS

The American Legion Marsh Post is located at 5 Greenough Blvd in Cambridge However there is

limited parking near there so we recommend parking on the Boston side of the Charles River and

walking over the Eliot Bridge to the Post

There are a number of options for parking The closest lots are along the river on the Boston side You

can access them from Soldierrsquos Field Road heading westbound There are many spots in the Harvard

Athletic Complex which is about a mile away (great warm up) Please look for the visitor spots

(metered) There is also parking along Greenough Blvd in Cambridge

The closest T-station is at Harvard Square on the Red Line From there you can take the 71 or 73 bus to

Mt Auburn Street Sparks Street then walk approximately 14 mile to the American Legion Marsh Post

location

400 ndash 550 PM REGISTRATION OPEN

400 ndash 930 PM GEAR CHECK OPEN

530 PM FOREPLAY YOGA ON BIG FIELD

550 PM STAGING AT START LINE ACROSS ELIOT BRIDGE

600 PM WAVE 1 STARTS

610 PM WAVE 2 STARTS

630 PM PARTY STARTS

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Pre-registered runners need to find their bib number by last name

To get a wristband for the beer garden you have to show ID

Any questions should go to the HELP tent

You will be assigned to a wave at registration

You can switch waves prior to the start however each wave can only have 300 runners so we

reserve the right to move you back

No one can pick up someone elsersquos bib

GROUPON ENTRIES

Runners with Groupons that have not redeemed them online should go to the Groupon tent You

will need to have a copy of your voucher either printed out or displayed on your phone

If you purchased two entries with one Groupon you need to have both runners present to check-

in

GEAR CHECK INFO

Gear check will be available while registration is open under the Gear Check tent You must

have your bib number to claim your bag The tent will be staffed until 930PM

ON COURSE INFORMATION

Please stay on the trail and sidewalks at all times It does get narrow at a few spots so pay

attention

THIS IS NOT A RACE There is not timing and no one will be impressed if you sprint ahead Slow

down run backwards TAKE YOUR TIME Check out as many people as you can

There will be one water station along the route This is a good spot to stop stretch and survey

the crowd
