DESCRIPTIONEzkote Green is a chemically reactive, non-petroleum, biode-gradable form release in a vegetable oil carrier. Ezkote Green reacts with the alkali in the concrete to form a barrier film that inhibits the bonding of fresh concrete to formwork. Ezkote Green, when properly applied, will provide a quick, easy and clean release of concrete from formwork. Ezkote Green will not transfer to formwork and will leave concrete free of voids and defects. Ezkote Green will not inhibit the adhesion prop-erties of subsequent coatings to concrete substrate.

USESEzkote Green can be used on various types of forms includ-ing wood, BB plyform, aluminium, plastic and steel. Ezkote Green can be used to protect equipment such as buckets, hoists, paving machines as well as aluminum and steel win-dows. Ezkote Green will increase the life span of wood forms by waterproofing and protecting. It will reduce maintenance of metal forms by forming a protective, rustproof film.

BENEFITS• Contributes to LEED EQ Credit 4.2 and MR Credit 6.0• Clean: Cuts stripping time• Organic: No petroleum, low odor• Non-Staining: Will not discolor concrete• Performance: Waterproofs wood and rustproofs metal• Efficient: Excellent coverage rate• Cost Effective: Reduces clean up time• Easy Application: Brush, spray or roller• Long lasting form life• Economical: One coat coverage• Consistent: Strict Quality Control testing and standards

STANDARDSEzkote meets and exceeds the requirements of Corps of Engi-neers Specification CW-03101, Section 2.1.2.

SURFACE PREPARATIONAll surfaces in contact with Ezkote Green shall be free of dirt, oil, grease, laitance and other contaminants that may act as bondbreakers. All rust, scale and previously used form release agents must be removed in accordance with good concrete practices. When using new forms of any type, it is imperative to thoroughly saturate with Ezkote Green until complete saturation has been accomplished prior to first use.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONDay-Chem Ad Bond is a non-reemulsifi able acrylic latex emulsion for use as a bonding agent or admixture for grouts, patches, mortars and masonry coatings. Ad Bond can be used inside or outside. It is not aff ected by numer-ous freeze-thaw cycles. Ad Bond is a milky white liquid that is slightly thicker than water.

PURPOSEDay-Chem Ad Bond is an excellent acrylic latex emulsion used for bonding new to new or new to old concrete in interior or exterior applications. Ad Bond is extremely eff ec-tive when used as an admixture with cementitious products such as patching compounds, masonry coatings, grouts, cement plasters, and masonry mortars. As an admixture, Ad Bond not only promotes a strong bond, but also improves the curing, long term durability and resistance to moisture and cracking of the fi nished product. For example, mix Ad Bond with sand, cement and water to form a strong adhesive bonding grout that will adhere to most substrates. This grout can be used for bonding, patching or resurfacing concrete fl oors and walls, as well as many other applica-tions including therepair of masonry structures, bonding construction joints and patching stucco walls. This grout mix can also be used to replace rubbing of concrete surfaces.

DESCRIPTION FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT is composed of cellular fibers securely bonded together and uniformly saturated with asphalt to assure longevity. Wherever a cost-effective joint filler is required, FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT meets the need. Manufactured and marketed by W. R. MEADOWS since the early 1930s, FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT is backed by over 80 years of proven application experience. FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT is versatile, resilient, flexible and non-extruding. When compressed to half of its original thickness, it will recover to a minimum of 70% of its original thickness. FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT will not deform, twist, or break with normal on-the-job handling. Breakage, waste and functional failure resulting from the use of inferior, foreign fiber materials can cost you time and dollars and can result in a substandard finished job, generating costly callbacks and rework expenses. However, the purchase and installation of FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT (a small segment of the total project’s cost) contributes to both the final cost efficiency and functional success, far greater in proportion than its original cost. Representative United States patents: USPNs 7,815,722; 8,057,638; 8,038,845; and D558,305. (See also www.wrmeadows.com/patents for further patent/intellectual property information.)

USES FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT is ideal for use on highways, streets, airport runways, sidewalks, driveways, flatwork, and scores of commercial and industrial applications subject to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

FEATURES/BENEFITS • Provides the ideal product for the majority of all

expansion/contraction joint requirements. • Non-extruding ... versatile ... offers a minimum 70%

recovery after compression. • This tough, lightweight, easy-to-use, semi-rigid joint

filler is available in strips and shapes fabricated to your requirements.

• Easy to cut ... dimensionally stable ... not sticky in summer or brittle in winter.

• Provides neat, finished joints requiring no trimming. • Often copied ... but never equaled. • Remains the standard of the industry today ... with over

80 years of proven and satisfactory performance. • Can be punched for dowel bars and laminated to

thicknesses greater than 1” (25.4 mm).

APPLICATION FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT is positioned against the forms, at interrupting objects or columns, and against abutting structures prior to the placement of concrete. FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT should be installed 1/2” (12.7 mm) below the concrete surface to accept the joint sealant. Before sealing, slide SNAP-CAP® from W. R. MEADOWS over the top of the expansion joint. Place the concrete and screed to finish grade, as usual. When concrete is cured, insert a screwdriver through the top of SNAP-CAP, pull free and discard. For maximum protection from water infiltration and weathering, and to assure proper function, seal the joint with DECK-O-SEAL®, POURTHANE® NS, or POURTHANE SL from W. R. MEADOWS. SOF-SEAL® or any hot-applied sealant, such as HI-SPEC®, can also be used to protect the joint; however, SNAP-CAP is not necessary in this type of application. Simply pour the product over FIBRE EXPANSION JOINT.

DESCRIPTIONFlow-Top HD is a stainable, industrial overlayment designed for resurfacing and leveling interior concrete. The new surface will aceept foot traffic in 6 hours and light rubber wheel traffic in 24 hours. Flow-Top HD is a blend of portland cement, high performance polymers, selected aggregates and proprietary admixtures. Flow-Top HD can be applied from 1/4” to 1/2” in a single lift without shrinking, cracking or spalling.

USESFlow-Top HD is ideal for applying over the surface of existing interior concrete to produce a new wearing surface. Use to resurface and repair:• Cracked or spalled concrete• Rough or uneven surfaces that need leveling• Warehouse or light industrial floors that are in need of

renovation for a hard, even floor

BENEFITS• Durable: Contains no gypsum• Color: Excellent base color to receive stain• Versatile: Rehabilitates, repairs, resurfaces• Adhesion: Polymer modified for increased adhesion to

concrete surfaces• Consistent: Strict Quality Control testing and standards

SURFACE PREPARATIONAll surfaces in contact with Flow-Top HD shall be free of dirt, oil, grease, laitance and other contaminants that may act as bondbreakers. All unsound concrete should be removed to ensure a good bond. Concrete must be 28 days old with hydrostatic pressure conditions and vapor transmission not exceeding 3 lbs per 100 ft² per 24 hours, determined by using a calcium chloride test according to ASTM F-1869. Retained moisture must be less than 2.5% using a calcium chloride test. Mechanically clean the surface by shotblasting or scarifying to match ICRI CSP tile #5 (1/8” depth). Acid etching or the use of solvents is not an acceptable means of cleaning the substrate. Concrete must be abraded and “open” in order to receive primer and overlayment. Take special care in preparing very smooth, highly power troweled concrete. These surfaces must be prepared properly or the overlayment may delaminate. Prime the surface with US SPEC Multicoat at a rate of 500-600 ft²/gal when diluted 2:1 with clean, potable water.

Apply Multicoat evenly with a soft push broom. Do not use paint rollers, mops or spray equipment. Coverage rate of Multicoat will vary depending on the porosity of the surface. Extremely absorbent concrete may require two applications of Multicoat to avoid the formation of pinholes in the overlay-ment. For this type of concrete, apply a first coat of Multicoat diluted 3:1 with water. Allow to dry and install a second ap-plication of Multicoat at the normal 2:1 dilution.

SURFACE PREPARATION [CONT.]Allow primer to dry completely (to the touch) before pro-ceeding (2 to 4 hours). If applying lifts, prime each lift with Multicoat. Flow-Top HD can be used over engineer approved wood subfloors including plywood, parquet and tongue and groove wood flooring. Wood surfaces must be structurally sound, free of wax, mastic, oil and sealers. Wood floors must be stable in order to provide a non-flexible surface. Fill any joints with a stiff mix (mortar consistency) of Flow-Top HD. Wire mesh may be applied over wood to increase bonding. Always apply a test area.

COVERAGEOne 50 lb (22.7 kg) bag will cover approximately 25 ft² at 1/4” thickness. Coverage may vary depending on porosity of surface.

MIXINGFor best results, use a mechanical mixer with rotating blades. Pre-wet mixer and empty excess water. Place 4.5 qts of cool, clean potable water per 50 lb. bag in mixer, then add dry material. Mix for a total of 3 to 5 minutes to achieve desired consistency. Mix only enough material that can be placed within working time. Do not blend excess water as this will cause bleeding and segregation. Do not use any other admixtures or additives.

PLACINGFlow-Top HD has a flow time of 10 minutes at 70°F (21°C). Before application, close all doors and windows to prevent drafts. Protect areas from direct sunlight. Pour or pump Flow-Top HD onto the substrate. Work into position with a long handled spreader and spiked roller. The material will flow freely during the self-leveling time and needs no trow-eling. Immediately smooth the material with a “smoother.” Wear spiked shoes to avoid leaving marks in the Flow-Top HD. For placements greater than 1/2”, Flow-Top HD must be applied in lifts. Profile or roughen each lift to ensure a good bond and re-prime with Multicoat.

STORAGENormal cement storage and handling practices should be observed. Store material in an interior, cool, dry place. Shelf life is one year in original, unopened container.

LIMITATIONSIn addition to limitations already mentioned, please note the following. This product is for interior use only. Do not apply when the surface or ambient temperature is below 50°F (10°C) or when the temperature is expected to fall below 50°F within 48 hours. Do not apply over surfaces that are frozen or contain frost. Do not apply over any active faults or cracks in the substrate without addressing any movement that might occur. Although crack repair is recommended prior to application, we cannot guarantee that cracks will not “telegraph” up through the dressing. All moving joints, such as expansion joints, must be carried up through the new surface. Allow concrete to fully cure for 28 days before the use of this product. Flow-Top HD is not a resurfacing mate-rial for highways, streets, areas exposed to continuous traffic or industrial applications subject to hard or metal-wheeled traffic. Normal conditions working time is 20 minutes. Set-ting time will speed up in warm conditions and slow in cold conditions. Flow-Top HD makes an excellent base to receive concrete stains and sealers. As the performance of these systems varies greatly, it is essential that test areas be placed and evaluated to determine suitability prior to coating the entire area. In most cases, sealers can be applied 24 hours af-ter the application of Flow-Top HD. Note: Most acid stains require 28 day curing time.
