Code OUGD201sub1 MODULE SUBMISSON FORM SUBMISSION DEADLINE: TUESDAY 23 rd NOVEMBER – 1 – 2pm TITLE OF PROJECT (GOOD IS……) Water, particularly in terms of drinking and the supply not meeting demand. RATIONALE (briefly summarise the content of your work – subject, audience, context, design direction and deliverables). I have created a range of products under the name of a campaign, ‘Agua’, to inform people about water deficit and possible future shortages. The products are to be sent to businesses, which could help improve their company image, by supporting an ethical campaign. This gives them the motivation to let Agua brand some of their products, which would be otherwise left untouched. The products cover a range of issues looking at water demand, and how much is wasted, with an insight into how drinking water could increase in value in the future. I have focused on transferable items such as bathroom amenities and drinking products as these are found in many different businesses, which gives me a wider platform to work with. I have used the placement of my designs to help quantify and illustrate statistics based on what the civilian already knows. For example on the coffee cup sleeve I have quantified how much water women in Ghana have to carry by using the measurements of the coffee cup. BLOG.
