GCSE Modular & Linear UpdateGCSE Modular & Linear Update It will still be possible to enter pupils before the end of Key

Stage 4 Edexcel, OCR will be offering March 2013 entry (2010

specification) November re-sits will be available (Mathematics & English

only) Students will be allowed to re-sit linear GCSEs as many times

as they like or need to - there will be no limit. The best grade students achieve will count.

The major change is the removal of contextual value added (CVA) measures.

Other changes relate to: value added (VA) indicators expected progress reports Narrowing the gap reporting school context review target setting SEN/low attainers.
