Renee Fotouhi Fine Art East is pleased to present JFK in memorium; "Myth and Denial". The exhibition will be on view November 16 - December 2, 1991. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, November 16th from 6 to 8pm. A panel discussion, lead by the renowned writers John Davis and Jim Marrs, will take place on November 30 at 8pm. John Davis wrote the "Mafia Kingfish: 'Carlos Marcella and the Assassination of JFK" and "The Kennedy's: Dynasty and Disaster". The Texas journalist Jim Marrs is the author of "Crossfire" and is currently the historical consultant on the soon to be released controversial film "JFK" by Oliver Stone.

Central to the large group exhibit is the installation "Sitting On Go" by New York artist Kevin Teare and Jim Marrs. Though the original theme of the exhibition was the exploration of the Kennedy assassination conspiracy and cover-up, the focus has expanded to include views and reminiscences by artists whose work is not solely concerned with the "Official Mythology". The multi-faceted exhibit, assembled by Renee Fotouhi and Kevin Teare, will include the works of Leon Golub, Larry Clarke, Mary Heilman, Judy Rifka, Kiki Smith and Paul Georges among many others. It will also feature the nationally prominent political caricaturists Stephen Kroninger and Julian Allen.
