1 Subatomic Theory in Graz • Famous for Schladming School, also 2 hadron workshops (Fritzsch-Plessas) in Öberwolz • 3 Research Groups doing QCD related TH (60% of the Institute): – CB Lang: Lattice QFT • 3 FWF projects involving 4 collaborators (in house) • Main collaboration: Bern-Graz-Regensburg lattice on chiral improved fermion operators, studying hadron states and N* excitations, 2 PhD students, 3 Diploma – W Plessas: Few Body Physics • Low energy quark models, N* resonances, calculation of form-factors, editor of Few Body Systems – W Schweiger: Exclusive hadronic processes, Relativistic Few Body Systems • Contacts to L3 and OPAL, main TH collab. with C. Berger (Turin), B Jager (Regensburg) , 2 Diploma students - 2 positions in process of being filled (rumour page says negotiating with R Alkofer, the 2nd is lattice)
