TIPS FOR ORGANIZING A STUDY GROUPIt works best to have just three to
five people in a group. Each person gets the time to talk and make sure they understand the material.
Schedule a few study sessions. These are much more useful than a “cram” session.

Have one person act as the leader of the group.
The main goal of the leader is to keep everyone focused on studying.
Be prepared! A study group is a place to share your understanding of a subject, not to be taught
facts you should already know.

First, compare your notes and review old homework.Write down your questions before you
meet with your group.Next, drill each other on facts you need to
memorize.Lastly, take the time to discuss “why”
questions. Make a list of the important “why”
questions you will be discussing, and divide them among the group. At the next meeting have each person present their information on their question.
