• Step 1 : Description - Make a visual inventory. Describe exactly what you see.

• Step 2 : Analysis - Describe how the work is organized as a complete composition.

• Step 3 : Interpretation - What is happening? Base on what you see. What do you think the artist trying to communicate?

• Step 4 : Judgement - Present your opinion of the work’s success or failure & EXPLAIN why.
