Option 1: Pre-Conference Moscow Study Tour

Date: 14/8

Location: Arbat Street, Novodevichy (New Maidens) Convent

Cost: 50 Euros

Payment: Place cash in an envelope labeled with your name, country of origin, and tour name. Give to Ivo, Finance Manager, on Day 0.

Option 2: Pre-Conference Moscow Study Tour

Date: 16/8

Location: Red Square, Kremlin, Vorob’evy,

and Metro Tour

Cost: 50 euros

Payment: Place cash in an envelope labeled with your name, country of origin, and tour name. Give to Ivo, Finance Manager, on Day 0.

Option 4: Kazan

Date: 23/8 – 24/8 **22/8 travel to Kazan, by night train

Day 0: Go to Kazanskiy Vokzal Train Station, Meet ExploRussia representatives at around 8pm. Take the night train to Kazan. [Moscow to Kazan: 22:16 - 10:10] *times may change

Day 1: After your arrival, you will do a panorama city tour by bus and visit the Kazan Kremlin. There will be night time Kazan adventures.

Day 2: Go to Bakhetle, a national shop, where you can buy souvenirs. Lunch in one of the city cafes, where you can try some Tartar dishes. Bus excursion to the Raif Male Cloister of a Virgin, and in the evening time train to Moscow. [Kazan to Moscow: 21:47 – 10:35] *times may change

Option 6: Post IC Study Tour, Rostov-on-Don

Date: 27/8 – 29/8

Location: Rostov-on-Don

Organized by LC Rostov

Day 1: The LC representatives will meet you at

the downtown Railway Station. You will then go by ferry to Arrow Recreational Center. At Arrow you can experience Banya, Russian sauna. Arrow also have billiards, paint ball, table tennis and a slingshot range.

Day 2: Visit Rostov-on-Don!! It was set up as a customs house and it was named after Saint Dimitry of Rostov, a Russian metropolitan.
