Become the Face of Study Abroad! What is a Study Abroad Ambassador? Have Some Fun! Benefits of being an Ambassador Requirements Apply & Training Ambassadors are study abroad returnees who are passionate about their education abroad experience and are willing to share their insight and expertise with fellow students. Ambassadors assist the Office of International Programs with promoting study abroad and preparing future participants through email and events including: Study Abroad Fair, Intercultural Festival, Pre-Departure Orientation, Classroom Presentations, Individual Meetings and other Student Panel/Guest Speaker Events. Ambassadors will be placed in one of four teams to compete for the World Cup throughout the year! Get to know the people on your team and have some fun while spreading the word about studying abroad at UNCW. Ambassadors will receive a point for every event or acvity completed, which will count towards their overall team score and individual tally. At the end of the year, individual Ambassadors who have the most points will receive recognion and the team with the most amount of points will win the World Cup!
