SUSEJ was assembled in the year 2009, made up of seven local designers who met in Lasalle College of the Arts. Guided under the same design teachings, we nurtured towards a similar direction of aesthetic sense and design thinking.

SUSEJ believes in good and honest work, and adopts a concept of ‘experimentation’ towards it. They appreciate the charm in the unorthodox approach towards design, instead of sticking to the trendings of exisiting design culture conventions. “Circle Jerk” is a situation that SUSEJ does not want to find themselves in.

`The essence in the concept of ‘experimentation’ comes from their belief in a multifaceted mentality towards design, such that design is a medium, rather than a platform. Be it concept or aesthetic based, designers might be fixated with the idea of approaching a problem with designer tools, and SUSEJ believes otherwise. They are planners, engineers, and scientists with an aesthetic sense.
