SOCIAL STUDIES (History) On December 24, 1814, a treaty was signed that was supposed to end hostilities between two warring nations. However, news of the treaty took almost two months to cross the ocean and reach British forces. Therefore, a large British army attacked New Orleans, but was defeated by the Americans. What war eventually ended with the Treaty of Ghent?
The answer will be found on the slide after DRESS CODE CHECK!
