    Survey Method Survey sheet consisted of 9

    questions about writingand 1 question orcomment to me.

    First, I handed eachstudent a paper.

    Then I made the whole

    class read each questiontogether and gave themtime to answer.

    If they had questions, allthey had to do was raisetheir hand.

    ! Summary:

    ! Most of the

    students in theclass likes writing

    and they usuallyfeel happy or

    excited when theywrite.

    ! Analysis:!

    88% of the classagreed that they feelhappy or excited whenwriting therefore I canconclude that my MTand I can incorporatemore writing in thelessons.

    ! Implementation:

    ! For the students that doesnt enjoy writing, they need

    that motivation for them to like writing.! An example action that helps motivate students would

    be to create a writing assignment that gets the students

    excited therefore change their attitude towards writing.

    ! To keep that positive attitude that the class have, I want

    to create lessons that are engaging so that they dontchange their attitude towards writing.

    ! I will need to work with my MT in order to create theselessons that are motivating and also meet thestandards.

    ! Based on the results, I need to incorporate different

    topics when it comes to writing assignments to meet all

    the needs of my students.

    ! My writing assignments should include students writingabout what they have experienced in real life so it ismore relevant to them and they can enjoy it more.

    ! Since students do a lot of writing at home, I can

    incorporate my lessons to have a homework section topractice more writing.

    ! I will need my MT help in picking topics that are

    sharing their writing toothers while the other

    half feels nervous ordoesnt like sharing

    their writing.

    prefers writing in aquiet environment.

    that even though thestudents like writingdoesnt mean that theywould enjoy sharing it toothers without feeling

    Learning Style! Implementation!

    From the data, I can see that a lot of students feelnervous when sharing their work so to help them feelmore comfortable with sharing, I will have students share

    with their side by side partner first then gradually makethe sharing group bigger so it is an easier transition forthem to build their confidence.

    ! Since most of the class prefers writing in a more quietenvironment than a loud surroundings, when doingwriting lessons I will make sure that the class is quiet andthat there are no distracting sounds so that they areable to concentrate on their work.

    ! There is always a student that disrupts the class, so inorder to keep the peace in the classroom, I will ask myMT to teach me how to create more authority in theclassroom so that students listen to me.

    Work Habits! Summary:!

    The first thing that the

    students do when theywrite is put their namewhile others think of theideas that they want towrite about or get theirmaterials ready.

    outlines to help them with their ideas thereforemake their writing easier.

    ! Since most of the students enjoy drawing, I willincorporate art in writing in order to help thestudents get their ideas flowing.

    In order to integrate art in the writing process, I willneed my MT help because it has to meet both artand writing standards and thats a little bit hard tome.

    Conclusion

    ! After gathering data from this studentsurvey, I gained more knowledge about the

    students that I am working with. I am moreaware of their attitude, interest, learning

    styles and work habits towards writing.

    These information will assist me in creating

    lessons that meets the students needs.Accommodating all my students needs willhelp produce a good quality work from the

    students.
