Process for Transportation Set up

1. Main line - planner assistant receives call.2. Verify student information, home address (alternate address, if necessary) and

attending school.3. Is this the student’s designated school?

* If not the designated school, is there a non-designated fee that applies as well, payable via PowerSchool Parent Portal.

4. What is the distance from the home address to the school? * Is it over 2.4 kilometres?

* The distance is calculated using software and is the shortest walking distance measured along any roadways and pathways. It is not the driving distance by vehicle.* If the home address is greater than 2.4 kms to the designated school, the student would be eligible for busing.
