About me

• James Penson• Joined SSTL in October 2004• Systems Engineer

• Education:• GCSE’s• A-Levels (Maths, Physics, Chemistry)• University of Kent (MPhys Physics with Space Science and Systems)• Cranfield University (Astronautics and Space Engineering)

• Worked on a variety of studies and bids / tenders• Last 18 months systems engineering a DMC small satellite

• Salary:• Start was in the range £20,000 to £25,000• Now £25,000 to £30,000

• Formed in 1985, the Company now employs ~250 staff and occupies dedicated facilities in Surrey and Kent
