Important Policies &
Procedures
• All applications must be made in writing, verbal request will not be accepted (FRM-023 Request for Transfer, whichever appropriate).
• An administrative fee of S$50/per paper applies for successful transfer (applicable to only transfer within LSBF).
• The Admin fee will be waived for transfer application made within 7 days from the result release date.
• Students wishing to transfer to another course will be required to pay any difference in fees, should the course fee of transfer is of a higher value. In the circumstance that student transfers to a course with a lower course fee, the difference in fees will not be refunded.
• Application is subject to London School of Business & Finance’s approval.
• Outcome available within 7 working days.
• Approval of the transfer may lead to the cancellation of the student’s pass by the ICA.
• The student cannot remain in Singapore without a valid Student’s Pass.
• In all cases of transfer of Schools/course of study, students must apply for a new Student’s Pass.

Transfer Policy/Procedure

• Application is subject to London School of Business & Finance’s approval.
• Refund Policy applies.
• Outcome available within 7 working days.
• Approval of the withdrawal from a course may lead to the cancellation of the student’s pass by the ICA.
• The student cannot remain in Singapore without a valid Student’s Pass.

Withdrawal Policy/Procedure
• Request must be made in writing, verbal request will not be accepted
• Application is subject to London School of Business & Finance’s approval.
• Refund will be made no more than seven (7) working days from date of refund request
• Some fees are non-refundable. Please refer to your student handbook for details.

Refund Policy/Procedure
-LSBF offers students a cooling-off period of 7 work days after signing their student contract.
- Student can receive maximum refund stated in clause 2.3 in the student contract if thestudent withdraws within 7 working days after signing the contract.
- After the expiry of the cooling off period, the Refund Policy would apply as follows:

Refund Policy
WHAT IS FEE PROTECTION SCHEME ?
• The (FPS) serves to protect students’ fees in the event a private education institution is unable to continue operating due to insolvency, and/or regulatory closure.
WHO NEEDS FPS?
• The FPS is applicable to all students regardless of nationality and the type of passes held by the students, i.e. dependent’s pass, student’s pass, work permit etc.
Students are to check that their FPS insurance certificate is received via email from Lonpac Insurance Bhd.
This certificate is proof that the fees are protected. In the even that the insurance certificate is no received, students may approach LSBF for further enquiries..

Student Contract
WHO NEEDS IT?• It is mandatory that all Students (local and international) to sign a Student
Contract upon registration of any course unless the school has obtained a waiver for exclusion of student contract for any course that is less than 50 hours.
WHY STUDENT CONTRACT IS IMPORTANT?• The Student Contract provides student protection through clear and transparent
contracts and important terms and conditions governing the relationship between London School of Business & Finance and the student.
WHAT DOES IT INCLUDES?• The contract includes course details, full disclosure of costs, commitment to Fee
Protection Scheme (FPS), clear definition of refund policies and clear definition of dispute resolution mechanism.

WHAT IS MEDICAL INSURANCE?
• Medical insurance is a coverage for students hospitalisation and medical relatedtreatment throughout their course duration.
WHO NEEDS MEDICAL INSURANCE?
• It is also compulsory for ALL students to have medical insurance throughout theircourse duration.
London School of Business & Finance has appointed AXA Insurance Singapore PteLtd as the Medical insurance provider

Please bear in mind there are some exclusions applied on the coverage such as motorbike rides, dangeroussports and activities etc.
Non-Student Pass holders can be exempted of the medical insurance scheme if they can show that they arealready covered by their own medical insurance.
Medical Insurance
• Class attendance is very important.• A student must have a valid reason for being absent from class. Minimum
requirement of attendance is 75% per month (non-student’s pass holders) / 90% per month (for student’s pass holders).
• For international students holding student’s pass, they need to be in school for at least 3 hours/day on Mon-Fri.
• Students are expected to be punctual for all lessons and stay through the class.
• Please do inform your tutor should you need to leave the class early.
Class Attendance
• FRM031 – Application for Leave of Absence available on www.LSBF.edu.sg / at the reception.
• Supporting documents are required eg. medical certificate from a registered practitioner, exam attendance, etc. to justify any absence.
The followings are acceptable grounds for leave application. Documentary evidence needs to be submitted to support each leave application.
- Illness- Bereavement of parent, spouse, children and grandparent- Official overseas assignment- National service/Reservist
For reasons other than the above, the leave application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Leave Application
Renewal of Student’s Pass- It is the student’s responsibility to inform LSBF when his student’s pass is
due for renewal.- Contact Admissions Department ([email protected]) and submit
documents required in person at least 3 weeks prior to the expiry date of your Student’s Pass.
- LSBF will cancel the student’s pass (only after application of renewal to ICA) 5 working days before the expiry of student’s pass to avoid overstaying in Singapore. Students are advised not to leave Singapore if they are no longer holding a valid Student's Pass.
- Please ensure all outstanding payments (if any) are settled before applying for student’s pass renewal.
- Students with unsatisfactory attendance (below 90% per month) will be required to attend attendance counselling before their application can be submitted.
- Student’s Pass renewal is subject to ICA’s approval.- Please inform the Programme Management Department in writing of
your travelling plans and seek advice before leaving the country to avoid any inconveniences.

• Any voice recordings should be meant for personal use only

FIA/ACCA Papers
• 3 papers to be completed under Diploma of Accounting & Business
• 14 papers to be completed under ACCA
• F1/FAB, F2/FMA and F3/FFA are available ONLY by CBE
• ACCA exams come in 4 modules
• All 4 modules must be attempted in order, but not compulsory to attempt the papers within the module in order
• If you wish to attempt a paper in any module, you must have passed, or be attempting, all papers in lower modules (except for Essentials and Options).

• Students are strongly encouraged to attempt the class tests, homework assignments and mock exam.
• 2 MCQ Tests throughout the term (lesson 7 and the last one during lesson 14)
