Additional Information Life Science & Chem-Eng majors should

enroll in Chem 1110 w/advanced lab Cal 1 will administer a pre-cal test the

first week of class. Worth 5% of final grade. Math will have a flyer to give out

Chemistry 1100 will give an HS assessment test within 3weeks of class- 5% of final grade.

First Year Studies classified as IHSS classes(only for first year students only)

AP and transfer credit questions (in the Dinning Hall: The Commons) & DCC –for parents

Students need to register for 16-17 credits a semester to finish in 8 semesters

Full time is 12 credits (3 courses)

Student and Advisor Meeting (SAM)- for first year students starts in the Spring ’12

Class hour schedule is only on-line IEA, Physics 1&2, Chemistry 1, & Bio all

have common test times. Any financial transactions are all on-line Grades are on-line Parents do not have access to student’s

records

Changes in transfer credits:First Year Students

Advanced Placement are considered transfer credits

Students will be allowed to bring up to 32 credits of AP/transfer credits

Students will not have to chose at SO what AP/transfer credits to use.

During the fall semester, students with more than 32 credits, will have to decide which courses they want to be used.

Transfer Students Transfer students will now need 64

Undergraduate RPI credits to graduate They will also need to satisfied the

residency requirement: 4 full time semesters or 2 summer sessions and 2 full time semester

# of credits changed from 48 to 64 credits New features on CAPP report for advisors

and Degree Clearance to check residency
