Home study activitySing the I Like Cake, I Like Ice Cream song with your child. Have your child draw pictures of foods (ice cream, pizza, cake, chicken) from the lesson. Then ask your child to point to the foods he or she likes, saying, I like (ice cream).

Look through some magazines with your child to find pictures of foods from this lesson. When your child finds a picture, have him or her say I like (pizza). Look for these foods in your neighborhood.
