Nomination procedure
An e-mail sent by the outbound students coordinator at the home institution including: (please use the KEDGE BS Nomination Form provided)
- Students’ gender, first and last names - Birth date - Email address - Number of semesters completed by the students before arrival at KEDGE - Period of study - KEDGE BS campus to which the student is selected (Bordeaux, Marseille, Toulon)

Application procedure & required documents
Once nominated by their home institution, applicants to Bordeaux and Marseille need to apply via our online application: https://kedge.moveon4.com/form/56966fcd3f5d66fd656edc54/eng Applicants to Toulon will fill in a paper application form. Students need to upload on the online application the following required documents:
- Copy of passport (non-European students) or national identity card (European students)
- Official university transcripts in French or English
- Students willing to take courses taught in English (non-native English speakers only): TOEFL score copy (minimum 79 IBT or 550) or IELTS score copy (minimum 6.0) – or a letter from the home institution certifying that the students’ level is equivalent to these scores
- Students willing to take courses taught in French (non-native French speakers only): document (or letter from the home institution) stating that the student has a minimum a B2 level according to the European Common Framework of Reference.
Acceptance Letters Acceptance letters will be sent only to the students needing to apply for a French student visa. No acceptance letter will be delivered to students not needing a visa unless requested.
Health Insurance
In order to be registered at KEDGE BS, the students will have to provide one of the following health insurance certificates once they receive their login and password on www.campusvirtuel.net :
o Students coming from an European Union Institution: copy of the European Health Insurance Card Students from the E.U. not holding a European Health Insurance card must provide a letter from their private insurance company, certifying that they benefit from a health insurance coverage with no limitation in amount for the length of their stay in France, OR must register with the French national health insurance
o Students from Québec: copy of the SE-401-Q-106 form
o Students being 28 or older on September 30th of the 2016/2017 academic year: proof of a health insurance with unlimited coverage for medical expenses and hospitalisation during his/her stay in France
o Students registered at KEDGE BS for less than 3 months: EU insurance card or proof of a health insurance with unlimited coverage for medical expenses and hospitalisation during his/her stay in France
o All other students or students not providing the required certificate will have to subscribe to the compulsory French National Health Insurance “Sécurité Sociale” upon their arrival at KEDGE BS (€215 on 2015-2016) which will cover them from Oct. 1st the earliest.
Students starting their courses before October 1st must, in addition, get a personal health insurance for the month of September and submit a copy of this insurance before their arrival in Bordeaux.

Practical Information
Visa
Students coming from the following countries for a stay of at least 3 months in France must apply for a French student visa through an online application via Campus France: Algeria, Argentina, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Comores, Congo Brazzaville, Côte d'Ivoire, Egypt, Gabon, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Lebanon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Russia, Senegal, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Turkey, USA, Vietnam
Students coming from other non-European countries have to contact their closest French consulate or Embassy in order to determine whether they need to apply for a visa and what type of visa they are required to apply for, for their studies in France. Upon arrival in France: International students holding a "Visa Long Séjour" VLS/TS, with the following statement on their visa: “CESEDA R311-3 6°” must register with the OFII (Office Français de l'Immigration et de l'Intégration). KEDGE BS will provide help to the students in this process
International Students Associations
The Interact (in Marseille) Melting Potes (in Bordeaux) and Welcome (in Toulon) student associations support the International Student Office in facilitating the integration of International students at KEDGE BS throughout the year by organising events and providing support to the Students.
They will automatically contact the International Students before their arrival at KEDGE BS.
Pick-up assistance and support upon arrival
Interact (in Marseille), Melting Potes (in Bordeaux) and Welcome (in Toulon) will offer a free pick-up service at the beginning of each semester.
In Bordeaux, the service is offered from Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport or Bordeaux-St Jean train station.
In Marseille: the service is available from the Marseille Saint-Charles train station (downtown). From the airport, students need to take a bus shuttle - 8.20€ approx., which will drive them to the Saint-Charles train station.
In Toulon, the service is available from Toulon train station (downtown) or from Toulon-Hyères airport
Pick-up reservations will have to be made in advance. More information will be sent to the students before their arrival.
Accommodation
Bordeaux Campus: Off-Campus
It is strongly recommended to book accommodation before arrival.
A link to an online housing application is sent to all incoming students in due time.
The school does not own dormitories on the Bordeaux campus but works in close contact with state-owned residences, private residences, and private landowners in Talence, Bordeaux, and the surrounding area.

On-Campus: Spaces in residences are very limited (especially during the Fall semester) and only cover 20% of the exchange student’s demand. We cannot guarantee that all international students will be living on-campus. Off-Campus As spaces in on-campus residences are limited many international students live off-campus. The office provides assistance for off-campus accommodation. The academic year of the Master in Management programme is divided into 8 Cycles, from mid-September to early June.
1 Cycle = 4 Weeks = possibility to take 1 or 2 courses per cycle
1 course = 5 ECTS credits = 30 hours (Management courses) or 45 hours (French language course)
Students willing to take 2 courses in one cycle must make sure to take:
- Cycles 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8: 1 morning class + 1 afternoon class or 1 morning class + 1 evening class or 1 afternoon class + 1 evening class in the same cycle so that the timetables do not overlap
- Cycles 3, 6: 1 course per week with a limit of 2 courses (example: 1 course in Week 1 + 1 course in Week 2, or 1 course in Week 1 + 1 course in Week 4, etc.)
Online core courses: Only open to double degree students, they do not appear on the list here below. More information will be sent directly to the students concerned.

Incoming Students concerned
The programme is of Master level but will receive both undergraduate (Bachelor 3rd and 4th year) and graduate incoming students. (2nd year Bachelor students will attend the KEDGE Bachelor programme)
- Undergraduate Incoming students will have to register for “Intermediate” level courses*. - Graduate Incoming Students will have to register for “Advanced” level courses.
*advanced undergraduate students in their 4th year will be able to take courses of both Intermediate and Advanced level, unless their Home Universities decide differently and expressly inform KEDGE BS during the nomination period.
Programme Structure
The programme starts every year in September, ends early June, and is divided into 8 cycles of 4 weeks each (see calendar with exact dates of each cycle on page 2):
- 1 cycle = possibility to take 1 or 2 courses - 1 course = 30 hours = 5 ECTS credits
Based on our cycle system, students have the possibility to arrive and leave KEDGE BS on the cycles of their choice (every 4 weeks) and to take as many courses as they wish, with a limit of 2 per cycle
Course Offer and Registration
Course offer: the list of courses offered in each cycle can be found on the document attached. French language courses can be taken in cycles 1, 2, 4 and 5 as a morning course. They are worth 5 ECTS credits and involve 45 contact hours. They cannot be taken at the same time as another morning management course in the same cycle. A placement test is compulsory to register to this course. Instructions will be sent by email to the student throughout June/November. Course load: at KEDGE BS, regular students of the Master in Management programme must complete 30 ECTS credits per semester. As for incoming students, the home institution decides on the number of credits to be completed by its own students. Registration: students will have to register online for courses (www.electifs.kedgebs.aleaur.com). They will receive an e-mail as soon as the registration website opens. The school reserves the right of admission in every case and of awarding available places according to compliance with requirements. Important: no course change nor withdrawal can be accepted after the registration deadlines.
Evaluation and transcripts
Attendance in all courses is compulsory.
Each course will be individually evaluated and one final grade will be awarded per course.
There is no re-sit exam. Students cannot do an extra work to get a better grade. They cannot negotiate with the teacher. They can possibly take an extra course in another Cycle.
The students will receive a local grade (based on a 20-point grading scale, passing grade = 10/20), as well as an ECTS grade (according to the following grid).

The transcripts of records will be sent to the home institution coordinator by mid-March for the Fall semester students, and by mid-July for the Spring semester and full-year students.
Double Degree
Students selected for a Double Degree (based on our agreement with their home institution) will have to complete: 60 ECTS credits of elective management courses (at least 30 ECTS completed at KEDGE), 6 online core courses, a ProAct (group project), a Master Thesis, an English language test and a 6-month working experience. Please refer to the Double Degree Requirements document for more details.
DD Students will have to start at KEDGE BS preferably on cycle 1 (September) or on cycle 4 (January).
