Looking for adventure? Looking for a challenge? SCA is organizing teams of Alaska high school students age 15-19 for 2018 Summer Trail Crews (with a Spring orientation). Camp out, build trails, restore the environment, and explore! Apply by Wednesday, April 4, 2018! Launch! is SCA’s weekend orientation in May. Members will meet new friends, learn about summer trail work, and participate in outdoor leadership activities. SCA Alaska’s Summer Conservation Crews camp out for four weeks. Each team has eight crew members and two adult crew leaders. Projects may include trail building, environmental restoration, cabin maintenance, and bridge construction. Members cookout, share chores, and help sustain a healthy team. Members will also explore careers in land management and gain experience with camping, hiking, leadership, and team-building. PROGRAM DATES: May 4-6, 2018 Launch!
