Stukkies & Stokkies is nestled in the heart of Heidelberg. Heidelberg is a quaint town, only 60 km away from central Johannesburg and 60 km from OR Tambo Airport, next to the N1 highway. Situated at the foot of the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve, Heidelberg offers a clean and safe country lifestyle with big city benefits. The 'Klipkerk' is a historical attraction and very popular church for wedding ceremonies. Stukkies & Stokkies is located less than 1 km from the 'Klipkerk.

We offer an idyllic location for small weddings of up to 80 guests. We only have one wedding per day, which means absolute exclusivity on your special day. Exchange vows with your one true love in a beautiful country venue with full river frontage and sparkling water features.

Most of our bridal couples come from the Johannesburg and Pretoria area, as we offer a wholesome country atmosphere, close to the big cities of Gauteng.

Have a picnic wedding and open air ceremony in our lush garden on the river banks. Or a romantic celebration in our charming lapa and covered deck area overlooking the water and willows.

Stukkies & Stokkies is transformed into a fairytale wonderland at night with fairylight-filled trees, an optional bonfire and the sounds of nature all around.

For those who want to have both the ceremony and reception at the venue, we set up open air ceremonies in the garden overlooking the river.

There is nothing more romantic than an outdoor ceremony next to the river and willows.

The ceremony set up with either covered chairs, stumps or wooden chairs, a 10 meter aisle runner , podium and register signing table is included in the venue rental.

We have a charming lapa with kitchen area opening up onto a covered deck area built around a huge tree. The deck comfortably seats 80 guests. You have a choice of covered round tables, covered rectangular tables, stump wooden tables and wooden trestle tables, covered chairs, wooden chairs or stumps. We use the hall for the dance floor and food tables.

Our venue rental is RI5 000 for 2-40 guests, R 16 000 for 41-80 guests and includes:

a ceremony in the garden with chairs (covered or wooden chairs), chair covers, tables (covered round/rectangular, wooden trestle or wooden stump tables) registry signing table, podium, arch and aisle runner the entire layout and basic set-up with table cloths & chair covers (if required) according to your guest numbers white, beige or black floor-length table linen and chair covers cutlery, crockery and glassware elegant wrought iron easel for seating plan display use of guest house for gelling ready,car guard , waiters & cleaners

We have a range of menu options to cater for all tastes and we can even get our chef to put together a custom menu for your special day.

Our buffet menu is the most popular of our menu options and the price is determined by the items chosen.

We also offer spitbraai options, potjiekos, buffet and platter options.

Choosing to get married at Stukkies & Stokkies, means you will have absolute exclusivity for the duration of your wedding. The bride-to-be will have her very own dressing room, with a make up and hair dressing vanity, comfortable contemporary chairs and drinks and for her and her bridal retinue.

If the couple wants to spend the night, the price is R550 per person, with breakfast, and complimentary sparkling wine and chocolates.

We design the most beautiful and unique wedding stationery, wedding newspapers, wedding websites and all other items for your day.

With a wedding planner on site, you can be rest assured that your special day will be as perfect as you always dreamt It would be.

Other services offered: dj, photography, hair and make up, nails, dove release, flowers, decor, marriage officer, wedding favors & wedding cakes.

Only I 3 venues in South Africa were selected to be part of this exclusive wedding program, featuring celebrities and focusing on everything wedding related. Stukkies & Stokkies was also chosen by Ontbytsake as one of the top 1OO wedding venues in South Africa. Stukkies & Stokkies also featured in Essential Bride magazine in the July issue 2018. And in Destination Africa in 2017 in an article on the top 10 most unique wedding venues in South Africa.
