Overview
• This workshop will provide:
– an introduction to blended learning and an overview of e-Learning tools;
– a discussion on pedagogic principles in blended learning (objectives, content presentation, learning mechanisms, assessment);
– tea– a group discussion on planning a blended learning module (using
participants learning modules).
– The workshop will close with a review of lecturer participation in blended learning (time and effort), feedback and a “where to from here” discussion.
• Delegates should bring a learning module that they would like to explore the possibility of converting into a blended learning module.

• Understand the e-Learning tools and networks available.
• Feel inspired to drive a blended learning approach into their teaching and learning activities through their knowledge of the pedagogy supporting a blended learning approach.
