Each item in the library (books, journals, movies, etc.) has a unique call number. The call number label is found on the front or side (spine)of an item and also is shown in Spectrum, the online library catalog.
Library of Congress (LC) call numbers are used by most academic and research libraries (including Ranger College).
LC call numbers begin with letters of the English alphabet.

parts that represent different things.
