shockwave
1. Is Shockwave right for me?While Shockwave is no substitute for exercise and a healthy diet, it can help if you have stubborn pockets of cellulite that refuse to go away.
2. Will Shockwave help me lose weight?Shockwave is not a procedure specifically suitable for losing weight. However, as a body-sculpting technique it is highly effective. There are many reported examples where patients have received Shockwave and have seen circumference reduction in the areas treated coupled with overall weight loss. More research will be carried out to explore this further.
As such, Shockwave is not suitable for the treatment of clinically obese patients however it can be useful for anyone looking to kick start a body contouring programme.
3. What areas can be improved by Shockwave?Shockwave can be performed on many areas of the body including the outer and inner thighs, knees, arms, hips, buttocks and stomach.
4. What results can I expect from Shockwave? The full impact of your Shockwave treatment may not be immediately noticeable, however following your first 3-4 treatment sessions you should be able to start seeing a change in the texture of your skin. The full visual benefits from the treatment should occur within one month and with the option of a maintenance program the results should be long lasting.
5. Can I combine Shockwave with other treatments? Many people who undergo Shockwave choose to combine it with other procedures. We would advise that you speak with one of our therapists prior to the commencement of Shockwave to discuss your previous treatments and also your therapy goal.
6. How much does a course of Shockwave cost? Our experienced therapists would be able to advise on how many treatment sessions you would require during your preliminary consultation.
