ABOUT THE AFRICAN DIASPORA POLICY CENTRE

The African Diaspora Policy Centre (ADPC) is a Diaspora think tank devoted to the study of migration and development related issues from the perspective of the Diaspora.

ADPC works with three main target groups: 1. African diaspora organisations in Europe2. Policymakers dealing with diaspora related issues in Europe3. Policy makers and governmental officials dealing with migration in Africa.

It achieves its goals by1.conducting evidence-based policy relevant research; 2.providing capacity building and training workshops;3.organising expert meetings and conferences;4. facilitating contacts and networking relations;5. disseminating information through publications;6.offering consultancy and information services.

• Use a very new monitoring tool called outcome mapping which is participatory.

• It is a participatory way of monitoring changes in behavior. Ownership of this tool is with the governmental official.
