Streaming To Facebook Live Connecting To Facebook Live With A Mobile Device If you’re using Facebook Live from a mobile device, simply log into your account or brand account, access the status update section and click the “live” icon. By pressing continue, you’re ready to go live. You can then choose privacy settings and write a description of what you’re streaming or sharing. When you click “Go Live” you will start streaming to your selected audience in the newsfeed. When you’re done be sure to save the video to your camera roll. Connecting To Facebook Live With Mevo Once your Mevo camera is connected to your Mevo app, you should notice a red button in the bottom left corner of the picture. Tap this red button, then tap the Facebook Live icon to log in and stream. This will open Facebook in a browser window on your phone for you to log in. Once you allow Facebook permissions, tap the red button and the Facebook Live logo again to configure your Facebook Live livestream. You can then give your stream a title and select a quality to stream in (HD, Medium, or Low). You can then choose your streaming audience. When you select ‘Go Live’ you will see a short countdown and the LED ring on the camera will spin briefly. After this, your stream will begin. Tap the icon on the bottom left corner to see more information about your stream, including viewer count, battery percentage, bitrate, and a timer. Tap a statistic to have it remain on screen. When you complete your stream you’ll have an option to save it to your camera. Connecting To Facebook Live With Livestream Livestream is the only platform that allows you to stream to Facebook Live and an embedded player on your site simultaneously. This is a great strategy to drive traffic back to your owned properties. Log in to your Livestream account and navigate to your account settings. Click the ‘Facebook Live’ tab, then the blue ‘Connect Facebook’ button to connect your Facebook account to your Livestream account. Set to public and log into your Facebook account if you haven’t already. Select your audience and you will see new options appear in the ‘Facebook Live’ tab of your Livestream account settings. Once you save your settings, simply go live to your event on Livestream. The same stream will appear on Facebook Live at the same time.
