The purpose of Bylaw 51-2011 is to make it mandatory for property owners to clear ice and snow from sidewalks. This program matches business owners or entrepreneurs with more seasoned professionals. You can sign up as either a mentor or mentee. No through traffic north of Hydro Scotford access. • Access Aux Sable from River Road (turn north at Praxair on east side of Fort Saskatchewan) • Access Carl Young and Master Blaster from Range Road 214 and Township Road 560A. Township Road 554 Project Township Road 554 is closed for reconstruction from Range Road 214 for 500 metres west. Intersection construction upgrades are underway, and detour signs are posted. Halloween safety Transit buses are always a safe place, and on October 31 our operators, inspectors and staff will also have their eyes open for little witches and goblins. In partnership with the local RCMP detachment, Strathcona Transit is helping to make the streets safe for all our trick-or-treaters. If your Halloween becomes too scary, don’t hesitate to flag down one of our buses for help. Everyone is invited to stop by and see art creation on a very large scale as a production crew paints a backdrop scene for the Wizard of Oz show, which runs December 16 to 30 at Festival Place. Get fit for the Food Bank — the Latin way Strathcona County is hosting a Latin-inspired dance fitness event on October 28 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Come and enjoy Zumba, Cardio Salsa and Classical Stretch. All are welcome.
