    Overall School Climate

    KIBSD Strategic PLanning 2010 - Page 3

Students were surveyed about how theyperceived the overall climate of their school.

Positive school climate indicates that studentsfeel safe, have confidence in the school leadership, and areexperiencing an environment where they can take educational risks.

Student overall climate was figured as the average of three scales:High Expectations, School Safety, and School Leadership. The graphbelow shows district average survey results from 2006 - 2010.
