STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES Goal 1: Increase housing stock to 300 properties by 2018 Objective 1.1 Establish a NMM Aboriginal Community Housing Development Fund (ACHDF) to raise revenue from Corporations and Philanthropic groups to purchase 60 houses. To do this the company will obtain sponsorship and donations to acquire the 20 properties per year, by 2018. Objective 1.2 Lobby for the transfer of 166 Community housing properties from WA Government by 2018. To do this the company will gain the confidence of Government, Peak social housing bodies and the public that NMM have the capacity to efficiently manage the volume of properties transferred. Objective 1.3 Sell housing stock to interested tenants. To do this Noongar Mia Mia will encourage good tenants to buy their NMM home and will mentor them through the Indigenous home ownership process. Goal 2: Expand Property Management Services to Remote and Rural Aboriginal Housing providers by 2018. Objective 2.1 Sell NMM Property management services to other Aboriginal Housing Providers. To do this the company will promote NMM’s capacity to manage the properties more efficiently and in a culturally appropriate manner. Objective 2.2 Sell NMM Property management services to the private sector with Aboriginal Tenants. To do this the company will promote NMM’s capacity to manage the properties in a culturally appropriate manner.
