1 Initiative ProposalPreliminary overview presented to the Board, with an outline of the rationale and an estimate of e"ort required to produce a project plan.
2 Project PlanBoard-level advisory committee appointed. Full project plan, costing and business plan presented to Board for funding and approval.
3 Development Initiative approved and funded, enters the development phase.
4 Incubation ServiceInitiative is running but not yet self-sustaining. Responsibility transferred from Director of Strategic Initiatives to Crossref sta".
5 Production ServiceThe goal of all initiatives will be to become self-sustaining and integrated with CrossRef’s standard operations.
