Senior Management Team

Stephen StottStephen is the Managing Director of the Company. He has spent much of his working career in recruitment. In 2000, he was recruited by Foreign & Colonial and Laurence Rosen as Director for a substantial start-up called Huntress Search. Stephen was thrice promoted, eventually to Managing Director at board level and was responsible for adding £60 million to the Company’s revenues by 2007. In 2005, the Company was entered into a MBO, facilitated by Nomura PE, at a valuation close to $105m. In 2009, after 11 years with Huntress, Stephen made the decision to start his own Company and persuaded Laurence to join him in investing in the new enterprise.

Laurence RosenAfter 20 years as Managing Director/CEO, Laurence left the employment of Alfred Marks (Adecco) in 1986 and launched Office Angels Limited. Laurence sold that Company with a valuation of £52m in 1990 and remained as CEO/Chairman until 1998. He was approached by Foreign & Colonial to start up Huntress Group Limited with funding of £5m. Huntress was formed in April 2000 where he recruited Stephen Stott, who led the development of Huntress’s technical and IT business. Laurence, as Stott & May’s Chairman, works in the business on a part time basis, though is fully involved in directing strategy and financial matters and acts as an ‘éminence grise’ and mentor to Stephen and his team.

Giles DanielsGiles is the most recent appointment to the board. He has twelve years pan-EMEA experience in the Executive Search, Search and Selection and Contingent Recruitment Markets. His main focus is business critical hires with a basic salary of between £90k and £150k. Giles is responsible for all of the permanent delivery practice and maintains a responsibility for the overall strategic development of sales recruitment.

Key Facts – Stott & May

Company Overview:

• Stott and May Professional Search Limited is a Boutique International Search Consultancy based in the heart of London specialising in Finance, Technology, IT & Infrastructure.

• Experienced multi-national teams deliver services and engagements in the UK and overseas.• Stott & May is a new organisation formed by a team of successful recruitment sector investors who have a strong track record in

founding, growing and selling recruitment firms. • Stott & May are quite unique in their approach in that they have targeted, and will continue to target, the top 5-10 % of the recruiters

within the markets in which we operate. Our most valuable commodity is our people, and with these people we gain access to the extensive networks they have accumulated and worked with over the course of their careers - both from a client and candidate perspective.

• We, as a company, are also looking to associate ourselves with a select band of organisations in order to help facilitate ourselves in becoming a recognised strategic partner.

Client Focus & Differentiators

• The level of success attained by Stott & May has come from the teams ability to build strong relationships with our clients, and their ability to understand the client demands from a business perspective, not just from a technical standpoint.

• It is our client relationships, and our ability to grow with a client that has enabled us to make a large impact with those we work with in a relatively short period of time. At Stott & May, we have no client facing graduates whilst each practice lead has a minimum of 8 years experience within their particular field. Alongside this, every client facing consultant (senior consultant) has a minimum of 3.5 years experience within their markets and has billed a minimum of £350k per calendar year. This elevates our consultants to a level that is unsurpassed within our markets.

• We believe that the strength of the networks our consultants have and the mature way in which we deal with our clients, alongside the drive to educate our staff, has helped us to become very successful in building solid long term relationships with our clients, which ultimately is the foundation of our success.
