Dynamic Media is presentation media by video, animation, simulation, or voice.

Essential questions give meaning, relevance, and definition to the course and the unit and should be answered in the story.
How can the use of digital storytelling and dynamic media promote the development of understanding in the classroom?
How can digital storytelling and dynamic media be integrated into the classroom in order to promote understanding?
How can the use of digital storytelling and dynamic media be used in cross-curriculum projects in the classroom?
How can the digital storytelling be applied to real world applications?

7. How does Digital Storytelling assist students in understanding?
The student has to research or develop a deeper understanding of the topic in order to tell a story.
The student must tie factual information, story dictation and/or sound, and pictures in order to create a digital story.
Because of todays technology, the students are engaged when they create a presentation that uses multimedia.
Students are using higher order thinking skills when they create digital stories.
8. The Importance of Digital Learning from ISTE
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) has written new standards for students success in the 21st century.
These new standards identify several higher-order thinking skills and digital citizenship as critical for students to learn effectively for a lifetime and live productively in our emerging global society. These areas include the ability to:
Demonstrate creativity and innovation
Communicate and collaborate
Conduct research and use information
Think critically, solve problems, and make decisions
Use technology effectively and productively
9. Why use Digital Storytelling?
Involves language arts skills including verbal and written communication.
Planning and writing their script which would cover the written communication skills.
Verbal communication by communicating with the students in their group and dictating their voice for their story
Curriculum integration
At a minimum, the students will be integrating two curriculums which would strengthen both of the subjects.
In addition, the teacher can create real world projects that would incorporate skills that would help them in their post-secondary education and career.
