PLOT or STORYLINE

Short definition: Plot is defined as the events that make up a story, particularly: as they relate to one another in a pattern or in a sequence.

In my own words: Plot is the sequence of events in the story

My example: One Summer day, we were so happy when we met each other until it came to the point that the relationship became deep. One day we had a misunderstanding. Then he broke up with me. I felt so down but I was trying to move on. Finally, my friends woke me up from those bad dreams.

Related Stuff

New concepts learned What new stuff did you learn when you did this

assignment?I learned that one element of the story

which states the sequence of events is called plot. I knew that plot has different parts which are the exposition, rising action, climax, falling action and resolution and these are defined in the previous slides. They are just like step-by-step from knowing the conflict, struggling with it until the character solve his or her problem. I also knew how to make a story knowing its elements and identifying the parts of the plot of the story.

NEW INPUTS1

This reminds me of… Connect the new stuff you learned to events in

your own life.As I believe that everything is connected to

everything else, I had found this assignment having a connection to my life. I realized that my life is a long story which is being made by God for it is composed of different elements just like what the stories have. One proof is that I encountered different problems in my life in terms of my studies, family, friends and at the end, I will realize that there is always a solution in all the problems. I guess God is such a good writer.

CONNECTIONS2

Usefulness in real situations How can you use what you have learned in some

situations in your own life?I know that everything that I learned, learn

and will learn will greatly help me for my future. I will now always base my life on a story line for I know that my life is a long story being made by God. This lesson made me realized that I have to be always positive because there is always a solution in every problem. I will use this lessons also as when I am tasked to make a story. This will be a guide for me.
