This is the first page of frames of ourAdaptation to the film the boy who criedWolf

This is our establishing shot that fades in from the title, the reason for the establishing medium 2 shot is not only to show the audience our location and setting but for them to grasp the two protagonists and be thrown straight into the action . The frame allows the audience to understand that our two protagonists our two deviant characters as they our shown playing knock down ginger to strangers.

There is no dialogue in our opening frame. As during our research we looked at the film trainspotting ,the opening scene to trainspotting is fast paced there is not much talking involved in the first frame this is something in our group we want to emulate as it gives our target audience the ability to jump straight into the action and emotion in the scene without being distracted by the dialogue .

The second shot we have is our “chase scene” the transition for the 2 medium shot would be the camera panning left from a medium shot this would follow by a cut to camera 2 following the actors ,again we looked at trainspotting for inspiration and guidance during there chase scene there are various cuts which allow the audience to see different points during the chase . In terms of fx we've decided to use non diegetic faced paced music as this would help highlight the fastened pace.

For research and planning we've looked at trainspotting in particular the chase scene. The chase uses non diegetic music to highlight the fasten pace and excitement from the chase , the chase also allows the audience to get a greater sense of the character behaviour this is why in our short film we want to include the chase in the beginning as It would allow the audience to understand that the characters are deviant .

The third shot we have is the running down of stairs again there is no dialogue in this clip as we want the audience to rely on the non diegetic music and the actions of the character to build up an understanding of what type of characters they are. For this shot to work we would place a camera on the last step as the actors one by one run down the stairs the camera being in a medium shot would tilt up to the face of the actors .this whole shot would still have the continuation of the music
