Before Reading Storm Danger! Was a book of facts that described different types of dangerous storms and gave tips for staying safe in each one. This selection is a tall tale about a girl who can do thing so person can really do.

Take a picture walk. Discuss children’s observations. *page 50 What is Rose doing that an actual young child would not be able to do?

*page 58-59 What is Rose doing that would be a challenge? Is this something that could be done in real life? Why or why not?
