NYLAR®, an insect growth regulator, is similar to growth hormones that occur naturally in insects. Total Release Flea Fogger inhibits development of the immature stages of the flea for 210 days (7 months), preventing them from reaching the biting adult stage. Total Release Flea Fogger contains a combination of three insecticides that stops the flea life cycle in three ways and controls other listed insects. The first insecticide is NYLAR®, an insect growth regulator, that does not allow the flea to reproduce, thereby providing long-term control. The second insecticide is the botanical Pyrethrum, (an extract of a Chrysanthemum flower), which provides effective quick-kill of insects upon direct contact and an added benefit of flushing the insects from their hiding place to aid in a more complete kill. Permethrin, the third active insecticide, provides activity until NYLAR® takes effect. Total Release Flea Fogger contains a combination of ingredients that kills both adult and hatching eggs (larvae). Kills hatching fleas before they grow up to bite. NYLAR®, the insect growth regulator in this fogger, continues to kill hatching fleas for 210 days (7 months) by preventing their development into adults. The fogger reaches fleas and other listed insects hidden in carpets, rugs, drapes, upholstery, pet bedding, floor cracks and open cabinets. Occasionally adult fleas may be present in treated areas when reintroduced from infested animals. To protect your pet against and to minimize reintroduction of adult fleas from outdoors, use EPA registered flea and tick products, flea or flea and tick collars, pet dusts, pet sprays, pet dips, pet shampoos, flea shampoos or flea and tick shampoos, in conjunction with this application and prior to re-entry. As part of a complete flea control program, use EPA registered Bonide Total Pest Control, indoor and outdoor formulas or Bonide Household Insect Control, indoor spray. Kills insects such as: Adult and nymph Cockroaches, Smokey Brown Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, Asian Cockroach, German Cockroach, American Cockroach, Australian Cockroach, Waterbugs and Palmetto Bugs, Sowbugs, Millipedes, Beetles, Ground Beetles, Elm Leaf Beetles, Boxelder Bugs, Earwigs, Lice, Pillbugs, Clover Mites, Carpet Beetles, Fleas, Ticks, Brown Dog Ticks, Lone Star Ticks, Deer Ticks, Other Ixodid Species, American Dog Ticks, Gulf Coast Ticks, Foraging Ants, Carpenter Ants, Centipedes, Granary Insects, Flat Grain Beetles, Cadelles, Rice Weevils, Flour Beetles, Cigarette Beetles, Drugstore Beetles, Lesser Grain Borers, Merchant Grain Beetles, Saw-toothed Grain Beetles, Grain Weevils, Warehouse Beetles, Red Flour Beetles, Grain Mites, Cheese Mites; Midges, Flies, Gnats, Cluster Flies, Mosquitoes, Sciarid Flies, Firebrats, Silverfish, Booklice, Wood Borers (exposed stages), Flying Moths, Almond Moths, Chocolate Moths, Tobacco Moths, Indian Meal Moths, Indian Mealworms, Angoumois Grain Moths, Hornets, Carpenter Bees, Wasps, Yellow Jackets. For use only when building has been vacated by human beings and pets. Remove pets and birds, and cover fish aquariums before spraying. Do not use in greenhouses where plants are grown for food. Do not use in aircraft cabins. Do not allow adults, children, or pets to enter the treated area, until vapors, mists and aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated. Wait two (2) hours after application, then open windows, vents and doors for two (2) hours. If an odor is still detectable, additional ventilation is required. TO USE THIS PRODUCT CORRECTLY: DO NOT use more than one fogger per room. DO NOT use in small, enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets or under counters or tables. Use of a fogger in an enclosed space may cause the product to explode, resulting in injury to people or damage to property. Do not use in a room 5 ft. x 5 ft. with an 8 ft. ceiling or smaller; instead, allow fog to enter from other rooms. Turn off ALL ignition sources such as pilot lights (shut off gas valves), other open flames or running electrical appliances that cycle off and on (i.e., refrigerators, thermostats, etc.). Use only one canister of fogger to treat a room up to 27 ft. x 27 ft. with an 8 ft. ceiling or 6,000 cubic ft. of unobstructed space. BEFORE YOU FOG: In the home, exposed food should be covered or removed. All food preparation surfaces and utensils should be covered during treatment or thoroughly washed before use. Close outside doors and windows. Shut off fans, air conditioners, and ventilation equipment. Put out all flames, pilot lights and other ignition sources. Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance. Remove pets and birds but leave pets’ bedding as this is a primary hiding place for fleas and must be treated for best results. No need to discard pet bedding after treatment. Cover and turn off fish aquariums before activating fogger. Cover waxed wood floors and waxed furniture in the immediate area surrounding the fogger. Newspapers may be used. Open interior closet doors and cabinets of areas to be treated. Place a chair, small table or stand in the center of the room to be treated and cover with newspaper. Fill out and place hang-tag on the door to the treated area to alert family and others with access to the treated area not to enter for 2 hours. For more effective control of storage pests, Cockroaches and Crickets, open all cupboard doors (kitchen, bathrooms, pantry) and drawers for better penetration of fog. Remove all infested foodstuffs and dispose of in outdoor trash. For flea and tick control, thoroughly vacuum all carpeting and upholstered furniture, along baseboards, under furniture, and in closets. Put vacuum bag into a sack and dispose of in outside trash. Mop all hard floor surfaces. Use additional units for remote rooms or where the free flow of fog is not assured. TO START FOGGING: SHAKE FOGGER WELL BEFORE USING: Hold can at arm’s length with top of can pointing away from face and eyes. Push down on finger pad until it locks. This will start fogging action. Vacate the treated house, individual apartment unit or other structure immediately. Keep treated area closed for two (2) hours. Do not remain in the area during treatment. Do not Re-enter for 2 hours. AIRING OUT: Wait two (2) hours after application, then open windows, vents and doors for two (2) hours. If an odor is still detectable, additional ventilation is required. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage and disposal. Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool, dry area.
