Storage and Backup Support Engineer – Become an expert! As an escalation point for frontline engineers, you will be responsible for addressing technical product incidents and working with enterprise level clients from ticket creation to resolution. You will require exceptional logical problem solving skills and will be depended upon for performance management and backup administration of external clients. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, critical and sensitive support issues is key to this fantastic new opportunity. To make sparks fly you will have: Extensive experience as a Systems Administrator in a Windows environment Experience with any of these backup software products (Tivoli, Veritas, Legato, Arcserve, Data Protector, NetApp, CommVault or Symantec) Experienced with Storage Area Networks (SAN) and NAS Experienced with Server hardware or Tape libraries Knowledge of SCSI/ISCSI and Fibre Channel hardware Storage experience in either EMC/Netapp or HDS Strong Customer / end user service and support skills Excellent verbal and written communication What makes this role shine?
