★Your student gets the difference as revenue for the 2017 trip

REVENUE EARNED PER MONTH = $30.

OHIO COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY TAXBecause of the Ohio Commercial Activity Tax SCRIP had to reduce rebates for their Ohio organizations by the amount needed to cover the estimated cost of the tax. This reduction is 0.26% of the face value of each gift card or certificate, eCard, or reload.

For example, the rebate on a card that is normally 10% will be 9.74% for Ohio organizations. The actual rebates available in Ohio will be reflected on ShopWithScrip.com when you are logged in to an account linked to an organization located in Ohio, and all reporting and packing slips will reflect the actual rebates earned. If this tax is discontinued, SCRIP will discontinue the rebate reduction as well.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE REVENUE?Revenue earned for students will be collected in the MAAK account and subtracted from the next deposit due.

EXAMPLE:

TRIP DEPOSIT DUE $200 - SCRIP EARNINGS $50 = PAY ONLY $150 FOR YOUR DEPOSIT

online payment system. Complete the steps to receive your approval code (approx. 2 days), and send your code to our coordinator Aimee Wasinski to aimee@wasinski.com to confirm your account BEFORE you start shopping.
